Delete your SeeVit account

You can close your SeeVit account at any time and have everything in it erased. This page explains what deletion removes, what we have to keep, and how to ask for it.

Last updated: 1 August 2026This document is provided in English. If it is translated, the English version is the authoritative one.

How to delete your account

In the app, in three taps. Open the menu at the top right of any tab, choose Settings › Account › Delete account, then type the confirmation word and confirm. Deletion happens immediately: your account, your files and everything generated from them are erased before you are returned to the sign-in screen. There is no waiting period, no charge, and you do not have to give a reason.

By email, if you cannot reach the app. Write to dev@repleto.io from the address on your account. Sending from your own account address is how we confirm the request is really yours, so a request from any other address will be refused. We confirm by reply, delete within 30 days of confirming your identity, and write to you once it is done.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you want to keep any of your tailored CVs or cover letters, export or save them before you ask. Once the account is gone we cannot recover a document from it.

What gets removed

  • Your sign-in account and authentication records.
  • Every CV you uploaded, including the original file and the text extracted from it.
  • Every tailored CV, cover letter and generated PDF, along with the visual reproductions built from your uploads.
  • Your job searches and saved search settings: titles, locations, excluded companies and work-setup preference.
  • Your tailoring rules, your cover-letter signature and your app preferences.
  • The jobs you swiped, approved or rejected, and the analyses attached to them.
  • Your push notification token, and your personal inbound email address if you used the “add a CV by email” feature.

The copy held on your own device goes when you delete the app from your phone. Doing both leaves nothing behind.

What we have to keep, and why

  • Purchase records. Tax and accounting law requires us to keep a record of what was sold. Your subscription itself is held by the store you bought it from, under your Apple account or your Google account, not by us, and that store’s own retention rules apply to it.
  • An anonymous usage count. We keep a count of metered actions so our billing records reconcile. After deletion it holds nothing that identifies you.
  • Anything under a legal hold. If we are required by law to retain something specific, we keep only that, only for as long as required, and we tell you.

Cancel your subscription separately

Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription, because the subscription lives with the store you bought it from rather than in the app. Cancel it there first, otherwise the store will keep billing you.

  • iPhone or iPad. Settings › your name › Subscriptions.
  • Android. Open the Google Play app, tap your profile picture, then Payments and subscriptions › Subscriptions.

If you want less than full deletion

You do not have to close the whole account to remove something. You can delete an individual CV in the app, which removes its file and every document generated from it, and you can clear your search settings and rules without losing your account.

If you would rather have a copy of your data than delete it, ask us for one at the same address. Your rights over your data, including access and portability, are set out in the Privacy Policy.
